Prof. ZHANG Hong from National laboratory of Biomacromolecules, Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences gave a seminar at the School of Chinese Medicine on 15 January 2019. The title of talk was “Autophagy: Lessons from C.elegans”. Prof. Zhang’s research interest involves studying the molecular mechanism of the autophagic machinery, the regulation of autophagy activity during development and the physiological function of autophagy. Prof. Zhang’s group has published many papers in high-rank academic journals such as Cell, Molecular Cell, Nature Cell Biology, the Journal of Cell Biology, and Developmental Cell, etc.
